What is the expected behavior?
It should have an option that Fabs are displayed as a speed dial. When the first Fab is hovered then some optional fabs slide in and are visible. Like the Speed dial in Material Design guidelines https://material.io/design/components/buttons-floating-action-button.html#extended-fab
What is the actual behavior?
Fab can only be used as single Fab and not with some options on hover.
@fkoepke Thanks for filing this issue. We have this variant on our backlog as something we want to complete but other components have been prioritized first. We'll leave this issue open so we can track that it's been community requested, and we'll update it if the status changes.
This is highly anticipated featrure. It's quite common where a page has more actions - like edit/delete/push/whatever. These actions are perfect candidates for a speed dial. Material design doesn't have "botton row" which would take place for page actions. Please consider giving higher priority to this feature.
