Advice for Chromecast (Audio) users
Advice for Chromecast (Audio) users - this software did not work when run from my Win 10 Desktop so I copied the folder into the root folders of my audio applications (iTunes, Audacity, Media player) and placed a shortcut to each on my Desktop.
I will check this evening.

Do you copy the actual folder or folder contents?

Sorry had to remind myself how it worked. You place the whole folder in the root and create a shortcut pointing to audio-cast.exe in that folder. I just realized (doh) I only need it in my sound card folder.
When I run audio-cast it places a cast icon in my toolbar and I click on the icon to cast (you get the bong sounds if it is connected).

Thanks. I can get the connection but I can't get any audio. Do you get any audio while playing a video ?

I can cast audio from a you tube video but it is out of sync unless I play the sound directly from my PC sound card (i.e. not casting).
