Draft posts are public
Anyone with the link, or anyone who guesses the link, can view a draft post, even when un-authenticated.

Indeed, this is intended behaviour. The thought process is that once one writes a draft, they might seek some feedback. This way, they can share the link directly with their reviewers.
It might be useful to be more explicit about this, though. Not sure at what point to convey this information in the UI, so if you have any ideas, feel free to suggest them!
I can try experimenting with this after we finish working on the mistletoe issue. I was thinking of displaying something to the effect of "This post is accessible to anyone with the link." on either the post edit page, or the post view (specifically for draft posts)
