Add Caddyfile

Caddy is a widely used open source web server.

This pull request adds a Caddyfile - i.e. a Caddy configuration file - to the Mastodon repository.

Searching for "mastodon caddy" on the web, you will find incorrect and/or outdated Caddyfiles.

This pull request is an attempt to provide an official, correct and safe configuration file for Caddy.

This Caddyfile was written based on the Nginx configuration file already present in the Mastodon repository.

This Caddyfile has been successfully tested using:

  • Caddy v2.6.2
  • Mastodon v3.5.3

Could you format your Caddyfile using caddy fmt? It looks like the indentation is wrong.

Has anyone managed to measure the performance impact when switching from Nginx to Caddy? If there is one, we should maybe warn people as part of the Caddyfile distribution as part of Mastodon.

Probably they requested account deletion / content removal from GitHub per GDPR. Or just decided to wipe it manually
