[BUG] Explore tab does not respect Mutes

Is there an existing issue for this?

Current Behavior

Currently, I continue to see posts from users that I have muted in the Explore tab. I do not see them in the Web UI, and the phrasing in the documentation suggests that their posts should definitely be hidden.

I know that this isn't a caching issue because I have a user that I have intentionally muted a few weeks ago, yet I still see their posts in the Explore tab on iOS.

Expected Behavior

An account that I have muted should not have their posts show up in the Explore tab for me.

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Find someone that shows up in the Explore tab
  2. Mute that user
  3. Refresh the view (or close the app and reopen it)
  4. See that the user's posts still show up in the Explore tab

Environment

- Device: iPhone 14 Pro
- OS: iOS 16.1.1
- Version: 1.4.7
- Build: 199

Anything else?

This might be an issue with the Mastodon API, I'm not entirely sure. Either that, or an API parameter isn't being passed to exclude posts from muted users when it should be.

Also, as a test I muted the nixCraft account, and still see their posts in my Explore tab in the iOS app:

Also seeing this on the iOS app on the iPhone SE, app version 1.4.7. Not the end of the world since I tend not to use the explore page but it would be nice to still be able to mute people (e.g. I don’t want to see most of the popular people who constantly post politics)

Just wanted to add that I am also experiencing this issue.
