Translation cut off to "Check your bum..."

On my iPhone 12 mini running iOS 17, the German translation of "Check your inbox" after creating a new account is cut off and says "Check your bum..." ("Überprüfe deinen Po..."). Screenshot included.

Either the translation should be changed so that it fits or cuts off non-ambiguously or the font size should be adjusted. For a different translation, I suggest "Check Dein Postfach" which might fit - it's very much normal to use the english word "check" in this context. Another alternative is "Öffne dein Postfach" which means "Open your inbox".

Changing the translation (We use Crowdin for translations) wouldn't solve the underlaying problem: Not enough space for long titles. If you change the translation for German, well, what do you do if other languages are affected, too?

An idea worth checking could be to not use the standard title-property of UIViewController, but to replace it with a multiline label.

Measure the width of the text and make a good decision based on that? (and remember that not all languages write left-to-right)
