"Compact mode" maximizing visible content

What? I hope to see a "compact" mode (one of three density settings: compact/normal/wide?) that maximizes visible content ...

How?

• ... by restoring the old (pre-2.4.1) line height (and tracking)
• ... by hiding the large bottom navigation bar on Android upon scrolling or by hiding the label text in compact mode (even if not recommended by Material design guidelines).

Why? In app version 2.4.1, I can only see 1 to 1,5 posts on a single screen (Samsung S10). I'd like to see more content and scroll less.

The "compact" mode is obviously not meant for users who have eyesight or reading problems. That's where the normal and wide modes come into play.
