Account switcher tab design needs refinements

No. This is also where you add accounts, so this icon needs to stay visible to show that there are more options available when you long press. First versions didn't have this icon and people were confused and had no idea you could long-press this tab for more options. They assumed the app only supported one account.
Sorry for not being specific - the arrow indicator in the picture above almost reaches the right edge of the pill-shaped selected state backgroud. As for the multiple accounts part, maybe consider Sync for Reddit or any Google app's account switcher (profile image on the top right with an account switcher panel)?
In my opinion, the vertical up/down arrows on the Profile tab don't really make sense from a design perspective. I think it would look much cleaner if only the user's avatar (or a simple "Profile" icon) was displayed instead. To be honest, the arrows feel unnecessary and out of place - I haven't seen this kind of UI pattern anywhere else. Removing them would make the interface more visually appealing.
