Posting defaults picked on the web verison doesn't reflect in the app

As the title says, I wan't to only toot to my followers but not public. Therefore I put the default on the web and it worked great while on the web verison, but the app still defaults to post public.

Expected behavior: The app follows the posting default of the mastodon user currently logged in.

Actual behavior: The app defaults to default settings, which is public.

I was referring to the posting defaults. I apologize if I was unclear :)

just checked because i was curious: the apis expose this setting at /api/v1/preferences (would also be cool if we could change this setting directly in the settings, but since the settings already link to the account settings, i'm going to assume that this won't be a priority for now)
