Support for Perl language

Would it be possible to consider Perl in the near future? This language is still active and has very good async frameworks such as Mojolicious and Dancer, as well as being used in Linux kernel and other automation tasks.

Unfortunately I am not familiar with Java / Kotlin, but the easiest suggestion here would be taking a look at PHP parser for Squircle, since PHP has some similarities with Perl syntax. However I may give it a try as well with my very basic Java knowledge to help, in case it can be considered.
