• [ ] document all added functions
• [ ] try in sandbox / simulation / labnet
• [ ] unit tests on the added & changed features
  • [ ] make tests compile
  • [ ] make tests pass
• [ ] add logs allowing easy debugging in case the changes caused problems
• [ ] if the API has changed, update the API specification
