Mason keeps overwriting `master` with release

I've recently downloaded the latest plugin version of mason.nvim

Problem description

Hello!

For the phpactor language server, I like to stay on master to get the latest updates. However, Mason keeps trying to update to the latest release which can be several months behind master.

Expected behavior

Mason recognizes master as the latest changes and updates the LS as new commits are merged to master.
