SketchUp 2019

Can this plugin officially support SketchUp 2019, so that I don't get warnings during installation?

Rewrote comment. I don't have SketchUp 2019, but I could certainly add it to the list of supported versions.

So, I stopped bothering with the "extensions warehouse" from Sketchup. If you just download the plugin directly from https://github.com/marvingreenberg/FaceSVG/releases/tag/3.0.0 (note new version) and install it yourself, it should work for Sketchup versions 2017-2022 (and probably later)
