Reduced Explosion particles not working.

I have enabled reduced explosion particles in the mod and on my one world the particles are reduced yet on another world they are not reduced at all, is this something that can be fixed easily or is this something unusual?

Do you mean it's different in two separate worlds within the same game instance? Or are those worlds in different game instances or even Minecraft versions? And what Minecraft versions are you in even? Do you have other mods that might change explosions, like Lithium with explosion patches enabled, or Carpet with optimized explosions? (I don't remember if those conflict, but they might.)

It is different in two seperate worlds and on the same instance of minecraft, I am currently running 1.17.1 with carpet mod with optimized TNT enabled ( this does not seem to change the outcome whether this is on or off) I also have lithium installed.
