You can't use slashes in file names (in general). I'll add better error messages for trying to use illegal characters in file names in future versions.

Unrelated, but in general most users should not be using the Schematic Projects feature of Litematica. It's kind of a special and rarely useful feature, and I will probably hide it by default in upcoming versions so that new users don't "accidentally" use it when they shouldn't. The main use of that mode is to allow easier/faster saving and loading of different "snapshots" of a given build in iterative design work. To accommodate this functionality, it somewhat changes how the area selections and schematic placement work and behave, making things more difficult and confusing to do for "normal" situations.

@Josker0 Is Freqcraft a directory you created, and the file name doesn't have a slash? Can you check in the game console or log, if you get a longer stack trace when that error happens? Without that it's not possible to say what the issue is.

@Notnotsky Same to you as well, check if the log has a longer error message. And post the log or at least that part of the log to a pastebin and link it here.
