The code at the link above still has the calls to sound.ts. Here's the code without sound.ts https://makecode.microbit.org/_KFs006hsxP46 Load the project. Switch to blocks, then back to Javascript.
`const randDir` becomes `randDir`. Reinserting `const `fixes the errors.
I didn't mean to minimise or forget anything - just figuring out what the error was.
The indentation goes wrong after a section that doesn't translate to blocks.

I think it's confusing to use "compass" and "magnetometer" interchangeably. The magnetometer detects magnetic fields, and a compass heading can be calculated from magnetometer measurements of the Earth’s magnetic field....
