[FR]: Keyboard shortcuts to disable & enable a feed

Open RetroAbstract opened this issue 2 years ago • 4 comments

Brief description of the feature request

This feature would allow the user to set shortcut keys to disable an enabled highlighted feed in their feed list and enable a disabled highlighted feed in their feed list.

Would not be better to implement #89? You basically want same use case - changing common properties of multiple feeds fast?

Yes. Correct

As quick multi-feed disabling was the result desired from this request ,5d7cb9d allows you to easily do it:

  1. Select the feeds you want to disable, or the category if you want to disable an entire category (or categories)
  2. Right click either one of the feeds of all selected feeds or one of the categories of all selected categories
  3. Click either "Edit selected items", "Edit child feeds" or "Edit child feeds (recursive)" depending on the context
  4. Enable the "Disable this feed" toggle in the "Miscellaneous" tab to edit it
  5. If the setting is enabled, keep it that way. If it's disabled, enable it
  6. Click "OK"
  7. Done

Every single concerned feed should now be disabled.

It would still be nice to be able to disable/enable a feed with a keyboard shortcut.
