I did some analyses and have some questions about the interpretation of the results.

Is the discussion of within-cell type heterogeneity premised on that the cell type is significantly associated with the trait?

I found some cell types that were significantly associated with MDD, but the heterogeneity was significant for some other cell types.

Sorry I missed this. Yes, that's how we generated figure 3 in the original paper. We think the signals are more robust this way.
