Hey Shane :)

Haha, there are many issues but did not expect this one, and thank you! Disclaimer: I just moved to another place and have to go back to the old place for internet, so there may be a response delay, yikes.

I would love to keep working on AsciiPngfy but I have to work on a database-related project because I am currently looking for a job as backend-engineer and the day just is not long enough. Sigh. This is a Portfolio project and was supposed to be a short project but I barely got started on it...

For me this project is a mess right now and there are many things that have to be improved, like for instance:

  • the interface needs to be re-worked and the code in general can be watered down a lot
  • tests need to be re-designed and cleaned up
  • desperately needs a proper build system
  • add functionality like borders, styles and more game engine related meta-data generation
  • make it a lot faster, probably in C
  • many more

So yes, many, many plans, just not enough time ;) I think the project is gonna be 'soft-iced' for the next 3-6 months or so.

Now my turn:

  • How did you stumble upon this repo?
  • If you would like to chat we can set something up, I don't use social media though, so we would have to find some service we both like to use
  • How about you? :)

All is well for me thank you, happy someone likes AsciiPngfy, so this made my day ;)

Hope you're doing great!? Talk to you soon!

Not sure if this is for AsciiPngfy, since it's on Punity repo, @SvenGarson :)

We can talk on Twitter @martin_cohen if you want to. :) Currently I have no plans to work on it any further. I would love to rewrite it completely with new knowledge and tech I've gathered in those years since this has been developed.

Hey there :)

Well I have no idea what happened and yes apparently it is not for AsciiPngfy!

This is embarrassing and at the same time I have no Idea how this got sent to me as 'issue' on my repo Oo. Probably missed some detail in that mail, hmm.

Thanks for the heads up, I smelled that something was wrong!

Best regards and stay safe ;)
