applying height map to Gcode

I have read all the comments and I have used the GrblHeightProbe2. The software runs perfectly on my Windows 10 OS. The software controls the probe accurately, reports the height at each probe point, creates the colored height map; and I can save the map with no problems.

However, I cannot get the Probe software to apply height adjustments to any Gcode file. When I press the button marked "Gcode" on the main window, the only response I get is to "open" a file. When I select a file to open, the Probe software opens the file and displays the cutting paths and traces contained in the file Gcode. However, the GrblHeightProbe software does nothing else. After opening the file and with the original Gcode displayed, the "Gcode" button on the software only presents the same choice - to open a Gcode file. If I press "open" a second time it simply opens another copy of the original Gcode file.

I have checked that all the axes ordinates match, I have checked that the dimensions of the height map are correct; and I have checked that the measured values of the PCB level are correct. Still, the GrblHeightProbe will not present me with an option to "apply height to file".

What am I doing wrong?

you're using GrblHeightProbe2 when it clearly says that it has been replaced with OpenCNCPilot in the Readme.

still, I think the "Apply HeightMap and save GCode" button is in the new window that contains the preview.
