The latest version 0.11 supports LevelDB. It is not published yet to npm. Are you willing to test it from Github?

I was not sure if you need a npm package. So I published today version 0.11.0 with LevelDB persistence.

I tested LevelDB and it caused a Node-RED crash on ARM64 in a docker container. So, I do not want to deploy this in the main branch.

Looks like there is an issue if credentials are set for the username but not for the password. Please check version 0.8.1. It should fix the problem.

Is this still a feature request?

Some thoughts: Did you configure the associated security group and network access control list for the ports 1884 and 8080 in AWS EC2? Does Node-Red run on http or https?...

Hi Paolo, this is currently not supported. I never used users with Aedes and would need some hint. Martin
