I don't really know, since I can't really fix .NET faulting. Whenever .NET 8.0.5 gets released, I will try to publish a release which will hopefully fix the crashes

And running this script manually doesn't work either?

What happens if you run the script on a non-admin command prompt?

What happens when you click on "Update now"?

Are you running any antivirus that could be interfiering with the update process?
