[BUG] UI layout stuck during updates

Describe your issue
I started updates with maximized UniGetUI main window and then unmaximized it.
The layout got stuck with most elements out of bounds and not responding to input except the list of packages is responding to mouse scroll so the UI is not fully frozen.
Applications continue to update in the background and I receive notifications from UniGetUI about them.

No, it shouldn't
I'm seeing the same thing - actually had to kill the app when it attempted to update GoW: the GoW installer launched a dialog asking if it should uninstall the existing version and I couldn't focus or click on that, and UniGetUI also got stuck. I killed all of that and started again, unticking GoW for updates, and then it appeared to get stuck whilst updating VS Build tools - UI unresponsive even after (eventually) the installer completed.
I'm leaving it running in this state because it's still completing other installers - but again, the app is non-responsive to user input.
I really like this front-end, but it's kinda frustrating when the UI becomes unresponsive to user input - I couldn't click settings or about or anything.

do you mean the OP given steps, or have you tried with GoW and VS (I have VS Community and VS Build tools installed)? This is on upgrade, so it would take a little time to test, tho GoW should give the same issue every time as it's pretty-much stable and appears to be "upgradeable" because winget doesn't know what version is installed.
Yeah, I have tried GoW, and I regularly update vs community via UniGetUI, and the interface doesn't freeze at any point
I feel your pain - trying to debug issues that you can't reproduce is an exercise in futility
I'm experiencing this same issue when attempting to update pretty much any app, but I can reproduce this consistently when trying to download the "Files" app (package ID "files"). (In my case it fails to download, but I believe that's unrelated to this issue.)
Result found below (image), can scroll the feed with packages but only of those I had already viewed before attempting to perform the installation and the UI breaks when scrolling up. Also, attempting to resize the window after the fact will result in black areas. Requires to be forced to shut down to make it usable once again.
