[BUG] lots of updates detected if no internet connection

there should be an internet connection precheck prior to checking for updates. or at least not show updates with same new version while offline

All packages detected when offline, are from chocolatey only. I redacted the package names for privacy reasons
no new log in wingetui log no new log in operation history events are logged in 'package manager logs' only:

one extra note, upon internet connection restore, checking for updates again will clear up the fake results and work as expected.
