Can this post be added as design.txt? I didn't see a reference to this anywhere. I got this from Marc's homepage.

I think it was at least partially preserved as https://github.com/martanne/vis/wiki/Text-management-using-a-piece-chain, but yes, it looks interesting and you could recreate it in some kind of historical page, and send us a patch against wiki (apparently, you cannot create a pull request for wiki, but people with R/W access to the git repo can push it there, the cloneable address is https://github.com/martanne/vis.wiki.git).
