Support single-pane mode

I'm not sure if this is an option but can I use Marta with a single pane?

Hello @fabeit! Now you can move the separator to the very left (0%) or to the right (100%), so only one pane will be visible. However, Copy/Move dialogs will still think there are two panes.

It is recommended to support single pane mode to make it easier to manage files in directories with many extra-long file names.

In Midnight Commander, this is called "Listing format, Long file list"

Can I set "Change the width of a pane to 100%" as a shortcut?

I’m glad to see this feature is on the roadmap!

With Finder, I almost always use a single window and tabs. I find that shortcuts for copying and pasting files between tabs is enough for almost all of my needs.

Just wanted to add that zooming the second pane is a poor substitute vs. a true one-pane mode For example:

• Tab should switch between files (including being limited to only those matching the typed text just like ↑↓ arrow keys do) instead of switching between panes as it's currently is even when the second pane is resized to be made invisible
• copy/... commands should copy "to buffer" and require a paste counterpart command to actually insert files at the new tab (just like in Finder). Other commands that don't make sense with a single pane should just be disabled instead of operating on the hidden 2nd pane
• the toolbar with command cheatsheet at the bottom should be separate (i.e., it should not have buttons that don't make sense without a 2nd pane)
• the column layout should be mode-specific (I would have more columns in a single pane than in two panes)
• etc.
