IMO it would also be nice to have: create new directory and go into it. Use case: creating a nested directory like src/main/kotlin. One file manager that I knew would do that on Shift+Enter in the directory name dialog.

In Finder, I very often use Ctrl-Command-N shortcut to create new folder with selected files. This creates a new folder and automatically moves the files I have selected into this new folder.

I am frequently organizing font files into their proper sub-family and style groups using a folder structure. And I do this action dozens of times when working on these tasks. This type of shortcut is a must for my use-case. Without it, the extra steps are too many for me to use marta.
