What are you referring to?

If you are referring to addons well there are a couple of points

1. honeycomb is supposed to be a distribution of alfresco + selected addons
2. allowing them to be optional decreases maintainability, not increases it, as your test matrix needs to be much larger (exponentially larger for each optional item)
