With which version do you have this problem? If you need a stable version right now you should try v0.6.0 ( https://github.com/marook/osm-read/releases/tag/v0.6.0 ).

Yes. I think you are right. I personally am no longer actively using eclipse-remote-control. If you can fix the problem I would be happy about a pull request on github....
