Contributor's guidelines & a formal privacy policy.
Hello, I'm Harry. I engage in content creation for open source software. I mostly just create documents which I think would be valuable to the project. I'd like to contribute to yours by creating a contributor's guidelines, and make your privacy policy statement more formal. What do you think?
Hi Harry, thanks for your interest in this app! You reminded me of uploading the contributing guidelines I got laying around from some of my other projects (https://github.com/markusfisch/BinaryEye/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md). What do you think of it and do you have any suggestions? Also, I'd very much like to learn about your suggestions for the privacy policy statement.
I looked through the 'contribution guideline' you just uploaded. I think there could be more content in it. The guidelines should be able to guide prospective contributors, and also spur people to contribute to the project. As for the privacy policy, it could be a little bit elaborate. Here are samples of these content I've created for other projects; Privacy Policy Contributor's guidelines. They are standardized documents, so they can be replicated for any other project, but will be modified to suit the project which it is meant for.
