Long strings are cut off

When certain strings are too long to fit on the screen, they are cut off instead of the rest being shown below.

This is mostly present in translated strings, like the following examples:

Well, this screen is actually rendered by Android's compat library for preferences. And while there is a property to set that titles may be multiline (see android:singleLineTitle), we can't use it without migrating to AndroidX what in turn would mean we would have to increase the minSDK.

Of course, it's inevitable to increase the minSDK at some point, but I feel that this would be too small a gain to justify leaving people behind for it 😬
