Datasette counter missing

Would like to have a sort of Datasette counter (no Index file), emulation, together with other Datasette functions. Would be possible to add it please? Would be enough a counter that counts seconds of time that is passed from begin of tap file

This because exists a lot of multiple games in a single tap that are not usable after first game (ATM there is not way for loading directly second, third and so on game)

I agree. Also the U2 does not stop the tape once started and the c64 powers down the tape port. Another feature missing is a seek function to seek to a specified counter position (or seconds as iroby suggests)
