RTL setup and Bed Mesh "issue"

Open KrizalidPC opened this issue 1 year ago • 0 comments

Hi Mark, i mounted the BDsensor and flashed with the last FW. The Z motors and the sensor are connected to the Octopus 1.1 board I have a ratrig vcore 3.1 running RatOS 2.0 (klipper).

At the moment i have setting the collision mode but i didn't change the original start gcode.

Every time a running a print, the printer start with homing with collision sensor, Z-Tilt, then homing again and Bed Mesh.

Now my question is, How to setting the RTL mode properly and safety, avoiding crashing the nozzle to the bed? How can i test if the RTL working properly? I have previously setting the RTL by adding to the slicer the lines in the tab "Layers change" but didn't work as intended. The first layer was to squishy and really bed and the Macro M155 show me "wrong data" to close to the bed, like did'nt follow the layer heigh 0.3mm setting in the slicer.

The calibration show me correct data, the first one is around 200.

Best Regards

Lorenzo
