The geojson and the topojson seems incorrect

It seems to me that the files for italy are containing too much detail with respect to the other maps.

I guess the intent is to show regions but instead what is shown are provinces.

It would be useful if you could publish the scripts that you use to generate the files that would help identify if other countries has this issue as well.
