Not all dartboard names showing in dropdown list
When I choose link to art board, the dropdown only shows some of the art boards; not all of them. I have about 20 art boards in one page. Any workaround or suggestion?
The plugin detects responsive artboards that belong to the same page e.g. inside page
, inside page tablet
and inside page mobile
will show up as inside page
because in the generated web page all 3 of those artboards are exported to one web page. It is possible that it's not grouping your artboards correctly. Would you be able to provide a list of your artboard names so I can check them?
I've discovered that it's not grouping the artboards properly if they are named like the following: inside page desktop
, inside page tablet
etc. or if the artboard is not part of a responsive set. I've updated the plugin - you might want to give it another go. To update your version download the zip file, unzip and and double-click on Click-Thru Prototype.sketchplugin
am facing a similar issue. creating an android app with following artboards "Mobile Portrait", "Select Source" and "Select Tags". Am not able to link all the artboards within the same page. Am seeing only "None", "Mobile Portrait" and "Select" in the artboard selection.
@xsubbu Up till now if artboards start with the same text i.e. Select Source
and Select Tags
they would be grouped into one HTML page called Select
- the artboards would be treated as if they were responsive variants. I've now updated it so if the artboards have the same width they won't be treated as responsive variants. Let me know if that resolves your issue.
To update the plugin, download the zip file and double click on Click-Thru Prototype.sketchplugin
.
yes, it works now. thank you
This grouping is actually an issue for me. I can select the group as a link but then it opens a blank page. I do have variant of pages (basically a menu on the left and container changing) I 'd like them to call each other without renaming all my artboards.
Grouping should be optional, or manually done
Hi @XavierOlland. I've added a setting to turn off grouping of artboards. Goto Plugins > Click-Thru Prototype > Settings
and uncheck Responsive artboards
. If you have added artboard links to the document you will have to update them so that they point to the artboard rather than the artboard group. To update the plugin, download the zip file and double click on Click-Thru Prototype.sketchplugin
.
It's difficult to tell why it's opening a blank page in your case without looking at the Sketch file or the generated HTML.
I'll test some more. If I find anything I'll let you know. Great job anyway, super useful!
