elgg-web-services-master (guid: 13922) cannot start and has been deactivated

elgg-web-services-master (guid: 13922) cannot start and has been deactivated. Reason: Could not load the webservice:core library from /home/../public_html/mod/web_services/lib/core.php

the above error is thrown when activating this plugin from admin section on elgg 1.8.15

After downloading this plugin, the Admin has to change the plugin file name to web_services on the mod folder otherwise, the activation will fail.

You must rename the plugin web_services.
