State CommonMark support

As it seems that finally the big players decided to join forces in adopting CommonMark, it is time to mention what relationship is between markdownlint and CommonMark.

  • Is it supported and preffered?
  • CommonMark keywork should be mentioned at least once in project readme.

GitHub, GitLab, StackOverflow, and the list is growing.

PS. I raise this because I wanted to know if I can use markdownlint to validate commonmark.
