Hmm, does this continue after you restart extensions? This is the extension trying to fetch a new setting and failing, but that really shouldn't happen unless something very strange has been done to the settings.json files it's reading from. What do you see when you go to settings and search "ahk++.general" ?

This issue started for me this evening, I'm not aware of any updates, and I have not touched settings today. Typing 1 character in AHK causes focus on the Output window with the loglevel undefined error. It's pretty much unusable... The change happened while Code was open, I have not viewed extensions, settings, and no restarts today, until the issue started.
When I save settings.json, focus changes to Output and displays the AHK++ error. Typing does not trigger issue in settings.json.
Restart extension host did not affect this output.
Settings -> AHK++: General does not have loglevel it only has showOutput.
This is affecting PC A... PC B seems unaffected...
** solved **
I exited Code, opened again, issue seems to be resolved. Code opened to update notes for March 2025 (version 1.99). I'm guessing it was partly updated in the background and needed that restart to work properly.
The "AHK++: General" "loglevel" option has been restored.

I'm unsure. I haven't noticed it anymore, but I usually don't have the output view open. But it did happen multiple times when I first reported the issue, including after restarts.
Closing as cannot repro. If anyone is experiencing these issues, please try restarting extensions (link above) and share as many details here or in a new issue :)
Had it recently on a clean install of VSC and AHk++, filled the output with over 20K lines. I think it was resolved by either Developer: Restart Extension Host or Developer: Reload Window

It is very new, never happened before so likely connected to the a recent update of VS code and/or your extension.
It is a bit premature to close the issue now... with three people reporting it. It seems to only happen in specific situations, possibly with a new installation and/or in an upgrade situation.
Try setting up a new portable VS code installation with the extension. My guess it that you'll see the behavior then.
Looks like I forgot to hit the "close" button anyway :D I'll keep this open and remove this error message in the next update, it doesn't seem very valuable and I doubt anyone will accidentally run into this situation anyway :)
