Where to set libc-database location?

Probably a basic question (sorry) but I installed libc-database (https://github.com/niklasb/libc-database). I installed it to a location other than ~/.libc-database. I wasn't sure how to 'edit state.libc_database_path'. Is this located in one of the files that are part of installing autorop?
