Improve blog's frontpage

The frontpage may be a bit too simple, it's hard to find new content. Before the list of posts there should be a text that says "Latest articles". Above or below there could be a section that lists the series in the blog. It would be quite nice to have infinite vertical scrolling for the posts, and maybe horizontal scrolling for the series.
