Self hosting molab

Open s-celles opened this issue 3 months ago • 3 comments

Description

Hello,

I'm not sure if this is the best place to ask this. But I haven't found molab code https://molab.marimo.io/ https://marimo.io/blog/announcing-molab Is it possible to self host it (ideally through Docker). About authentication ... maybe supporting SSO (Authelia, Authentik...) could also be considered.

@s-celles, thanks for the issue. Right now it is not possible to self-host molab. As an alternative, it is possible to run marimo inside of JupyterHub, for example through this utility: https://github.com/jyio/jupyter-marimo-proxy.

I've been thinking about doing a simple version of this, built on Cloudflare, as a fun side-project. This would be easily deployable, but only to Cloudflare and would not have GPUs. If folks are interested, please 👍 this comment.
