Crashes: System.FormatException: Input string was not in a correct format
Screensaver started automatically by timer, continued to run for some 5 minutes. Then it gave an error, and the screensaver continued to run on the background.
The database has some 140,000 photos in it, many of them have Unicode file or folder names, especially in East, Southeast and South Asian scripts.

Thanks for the report, could you provide an example of folder / filenames that cause RPS to crash?
You can log the filenames by enabling the log in the settings: Press S whilst RPS is running to open the setting menu. Go to Slideshow and click on Show advanced settings... at the bottom of the page. Check Debug log.
