Thanks for the report! I tested again in the sandbox and can confirm that this is happening. I'll open a new issue in the grade book MFE.

In the meantime, I'll test this in a quince environment to confirm whether it is a regression. EDIT: this also happens in quince.

I will close this since 1. This is technically not a failure 2. The enhancement is being addressed [here](https://github.com/openedx/frontend-app-gradebook/pull/402)
