What would you like to learn or teach using R? Topics so far and new ideas!
Hi, everyone.
Francesca suggested this, so I'm starting a issue for listing the subjects we covered so far and planning what else should be included. If you are looking at the project and thinking "hey, I would love some material about [insert your favorite R subject here]", than this is exactly the place to let us know! ;)
What do we have so far
As I'm writing this issue, we have:
- Intro to R course, by Martin Skarzynski;
- Data Viz part I course, by Francesca Mancini;
- Visualizing species occurrences and biodiversity trends couse, by Francesca Mancini;
- Friendly introduction to R course under construction, by me, Marcos Vital;
- ongoing Portuguese translation of the Friendly introduction course, by Gracielle Higino.
What other topics should we cover
Some ideas that are immediately on my mind:
- gplot2 course;
- dplyr course;
- multivariate statistics course (so many possible topics inside that, ordination, cluster, etc);
- biodiversity measurements and estimations course (species accumulation curves and species richness estimation, biodiversity measures, and so on);
So, what would you like to learn and/or teach using R?
I am working on the ggplot2 at the moment :-)
Amazing!
