Prevents starting of Airspy R2

Hi Marc,

I’m using an Airspy R2 on a headless Raspberry Pi 4, which works well with SpyServer and airspy_tcp (an airspy version of rtl_tcp).

On my Windows 10 PC I’m running your latest plugin (1.5.4.2) with the latest version of SDR# (1.0.0.1836). I have placed the 3x dll files in the SDR Sharp directory and modified the Plugins.xml file as instructed. (By the way I think there is an error in the “magic line” text in your instructions).

The plugin opens successfully but prevents running of SpyServer or airspy_tcp, returning an error message repeatedly. When I delete the 3x dll files again, SDR# runs normally.

Could you help me to get your plugin to work? Since upgrading from RTL-SDR to Airspy, I miss the functionality of rtl_443.

Hi Simon

For the SDR#1836 version, the plugins file.xml is useless, Just put the 3 dlls in the plugins folder possibly in a folder RTL_433 under plugins. This plugins folder is listed in SDRSharp.config key core.pluginsDirectory. For information, for versions 1830 and 1842 they put the plugins folder at the level of sdrsharp.exe.

Thanks for your reply.

I’ve tried putting the dlls in the Plugins folder and /Plugins/RTL_433/ folder.

When I try to connect to the SpyServer without the plugin running I get a “Dll was not found” error.

With the plugin running I get an unhandled exception error, again informing me “Dll was not found”.

Deleting the 3x dlls restores functionality.

I don't understand, if you want you can try a version with 3 messagesBox that displays loading dlls in install\archives\debug load plugin add only 3 messageBox. You have details:https://forums.radioreference.com/threads/rtl433-plugin-for-sdr-now-available.425703/page-3 Otherwise for dlls, you write and ,only in plugins\rtl_433.
