Unwanted grid displayed on a map

I've noticed the 'example' app has exactly the same problem as my production web app - grid is visible on a map.

I wonder if this is a bug in Google Maps or this plugin causes this problem? Attaching dark mode map, so you can see the grid clearly. It's visible on every possible map type.
