Multiple modals open simultaneously

In the changelog you have Open multiple Modals - Implemented specified, yet I cannot for the life of me get a modal to stop closing other modals when it is opened. I have tried assigning a variety of groups, as well as using the data-iziModal-preventClose flag, but to no avail. Any advice?
