Basically everything fails to delete

Every call is currently "Failed to delete element", has Facebook blocked something?

You’re Temporarily Blocked It looks like you were misusing this feature by going too fast. You’ve been temporarily blocked from using it.

What is a recommend rate limit? I tried 1000ms and got locked out.

I've used 5000ms and got locked.

Is there a planned fix for this? Just downloaded the macOS version which had an issue (https://github.com/marcelja/facebook-delete/issues/39), switched to Linux version which is still failing to delete anything.
