PlantUML images not rendering anymore

After updating to the latest version of Joplin (2.14.17) the PlantUML designs are not rendering anymore. I tried setting up a local server to see if rendering would work again, but the note stays blank.

In the development tools I can see a call is being made to a PNG or SVG on disk, but these files do not exist. I am wondering if maybe it's trying to load a cached image, which is not available, and so the result is an empty page?

I also tried editing the PlantUML to see if it would re-render the image, but that does not seem to happen.
