Entries are not getting the correct date
My entries all seem to be offset, I suspect a time zone issue? I can't see anywhere to change my timezone apart from in the reminder settings, which I have set to my correct timezone.
The correct date is shown when I create an entry by clicking the 'Now' link, but when I save it the date is always offset 2 days in the past.
@UberMouse Hmm I'm not seeing this issue. I'll write some tests for it. Which timezone are you using?
My local timezone is GMT+12
I second the issue. Both for import and manual entry. I tried today (April 1st 11:15 CEDT) with the new entry.
The result date is: March 30th, 2015 Monday With URL: https://dayjot.com/entries/2015-03-31
Even if I re-edit the entry with correct date, it is saved back as March 30.
If I click edit entry and do not change the date at all, the date gets shifted anyway. The result: March 29th, 2015 With URL: https://dayjot.com/entries/2015-03-30
Hey guys, I'm not able to replicate this on any of my computers, but I suspect it's a time zone issue in the browser - specifically with the moment library. I've gone ahead and implemented a potential fix - if you have the time please login and let me know if the issue persists!
Fix here: https://github.com/marbemac/dayjot/commit/25f0a3e2947fa96e901ca3aef1230c1ac7e416da
Thanks.
Just signed up today (Apr 17) and sent in my first post, but now it says that the entry was created on Apr 15 when I look at it on the site. Not sure if the date is incorrect in the DB or when displayed on the site but there is a bug lurking somewhere...
